Drive on the Left: In Zanzibar, as in many other former British colonies, driving is on the left side of the road.
Speed Limits: Pay attention to speed limits, especially in urban areas and near schools. The maximum speed on country side is typically (40-45 mph) and in stone town area is 20 (mph)
Seatbelts: It’s mandatory for all occupants to wear seatbelts. And Helmet for motorcycle.

Fuel stations are readily available in town Area and country side. All fuel stations around the island the only accept cash in Tanzanian shillings only. They don’t accept cards payments neither in usd nor in Euro.lts advisable to convert your Money to Tanzanian shillings at the airport or any bureau change around the island.
International driver’s license or your country driving license will be required to process temporary Driving license in Zanzibar. This can be processed in Advanced after confirming your booking with us.

Finding parking in busy areas such as the Old Town can be a challenge, but many areas have parking lots with security guards, so make sure you park in the parking lot to ensure your car’s safety. On the county side, make sure you park your car inside your hotel. on the motorcycle side, lock the steering wheel of your motorcycle.
